Baan Yuree Resort & Spa - SHA Plus offers guests a tranquil and serene retreat thanks to its strategic hilltop location, which affords stunning views and a peaceful environment away from the noise of Patong’s bustling city center. Convenience is maintained through a shuttle service that facilitates easy access to local attractions and the vibrant beachfront of Patong, despite the steep incline that may pose challenges for some guests.
The resort’s breakfast is often praised for being tasty and well-priced, featuring both Thai dishes and a variety of breads and fruits, though some guests feel the options lack variety. Rooms at Baan Yuree are generally spacious and clean, providing comfortable stays with scenic tropical views. However, there are mentions of dated furnishings and sporadic maintenance issues like mold and dampness. Staff at the resort are mostly seen as friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience despite occasional service gaps.
Cleanliness varies significantly across the resort, but the cleaning staff receive commendation for their diligence. The pool is a highlight with its beauty and spaciousness, though it requires more consistent maintenance to address water quality and safety concerns. WiFi service is mixed, with some areas offering high-speed connectivity, while others face issues with availability.
Families may find the location challenging due to accessibility issues, particularly with children and elderly family members navigating the property. While bed comfort is praised, there is inconsistency in quality, ranging from superbly comfortable to overly firm mattresses. Overall, Baan Yuree Resort & Spa offers a picturesque and peaceful escape with necessary improvements in certain areas that could significantly enhance the guest experience.

Sai Rougn Residence - SHA Extra Plus has received mixed reviews regarding its four-star rating. Many guests suggest that the hotel falls short of this classification, feeling more akin to a three-star establishment. Several guests have pointed out that the bathroom and gym facilities do not meet the expectations of a four-star hotel. Despite these criticisms, the hotel offers an attractive price point, which some guests appreciate, indicating that for what they paid, the experience was adequate. While the hotel claims to offer numerous extras associated with a higher rating, the general consensus is that it does not fully deliver on the promise of a four-star experience.
