Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Kwan Ruen Park enjoys a picturesque location near a serene lake and an expansive public park, which provides guests with calming views and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for nature lovers seeking tranquility away from the city's hustle and bustle. The hotel is conveniently situated opposite a large park and has a nearby shop for basic needs, though accessing the city's main attractions may still require a car.
The breakfast at Kwan Ruen Park receives predominantly positive feedback with many guests praising the morning buffet for its variety and delicious options, ranging from classic international to Thai foods. However, some guests noted that the service could benefit from improvements, particularly concerning the temperature and freshness of certain items, as well as offering more variety.
Room quality at Kwan Ruen Park is highly appreciated for their spaciousness and cleanliness. The large size of both the rooms and bathrooms, coupled with effective air conditioning and comfortable king-size beds, contribute significantly to guest satisfaction. Minor critiques include an occasional old look and hot morning temperatures, but overall, the comfort and value for money stand out.
Staff at Kwan Ruen Park are frequently highlighted as a strong asset, consistently described as friendly, helpful and professional. The reception staff are particularly praised for their attentiveness and kindness, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere despite occasional language barriers.
The pool area is large and well-designed, appreciated for its spaciousness, yet accessing it can be somewhat inconvenient, requiring a card from reception each time. Maintenance issues and freezing water temperatures have also been reported, along with the requirement to purchase tickets for pool use, which some find an unnecessary hassle.
While cleanliness of the hotel generally receives commendations, areas for improvement are noted, particularly in bathroom maintenance and the consistency of room cleaning schedules. Mixed feedback includes instances of unclean facilities and unwelcome sights like cobwebs, indicating a need for more rigorous maintenance.
The beds, on the other hand, are consistently criticized for being extremely hard, resembling sleeping on wooden boxes or rocks, which many guests find uncomfortable. This aspect is a significant issue for those preferring softer mattresses.
Overall, Kwan Ruen Park is lauded for its peaceful location, spacious rooms and friendly staff, though it could benefit from addressing specific maintenance and comfort issues to enhance the guest experience.
