The reviews of Ibis Styles Chambery Centre Gare highlight several areas of concern regarding its facilities and services. Guests feel that the hotel does not meet the expectations one would have for a 3-star rating. Specifically, the bathroom facilities appear to be a significant point of contention with mentions of an average condition and the need for renovation. The cleanliness of the bathroom, particularly with its white surfaces, makes it difficult to overlook lingering hairs and fur, which further detracts from the overall experience. Additionally, the reception staff's casual attire contributes to an impression that does not align with what guests anticipate from a 3-star establishment. Overall, the feedback suggests that the hotel falls short compared to other hotels in the same chain and improvements in both service and facilities are needed to justify its star rating.

Hotel Actuel Chambéry Centre Gare, ideally situated near the train station, receives mixed reviews regarding its three-star rating. Guests found it to offer good value for money and appreciated the basic facilities provided. However, several reviews mentioned a lack of air conditioning and passable soundproofing, factors that seem surprising and disappointing for a three-star establishment. The hotel is often described as more akin to a two-star level with some guests feeling it does not meet the expected standards of a three-star hotel. Despite these critiques, for those prioritizing location and cost over luxury, it may still be a practical choice.
