The ibis budget Strasbourg La Vigie offers some family-friendly amenities, but there are mixed reviews regarding the suitability of the rooms for families. On the positive side, there is a trampoline available for kids, which provides some entertainment for the younger guests. Additionally, the hotel features several shared and communal spaces, which can be beneficial for families looking to spend time together outside of the confines of their room.
However, there are several aspects that could be improved. The soundproofing of the rooms is noted to be inadequate, making it less convenient for families. Specifically, the rooms are not considered very practical or comfortable for larger families with some guests pointing out that there are no family rooms accommodating more than three people. There are also remarks about the necessity of making rooms more kid-friendly to enhance the stay for families with young children.
Another notable point is the unusual layout of rooms, particularly where showers are located directly within the room itself, which might be challenging for privacy unless you know your roommate well. This setup may not be ideal for families, indicating that while the hotel has potential, there are areas that need addressing to make it a more suitable choice for family stays.
