Guests frequently praise the thoughtful provisions, like a packed breakfast for early departures, although some note the cakes could be improved. The remarkable hospitality enhances the overall dining experience.
Accommodations at Taj Bekal are consistently highlighted for their luxury and spaciousness. The rooms are designed to blend comfort with elegance, offering features such as balconies, private pools, and views of the backwaters. The premium pool villas, in particular, provide a delightful getaway akin to private villas with gardens. Cleanliness across the property is generally praised, despite some areas needing better attention.
Guests commend the cleanliness of the cottages and swimming pool, though a few mention specific areas needing tidier upkeep. The well-maintained beach adds to the allure of a luxurious stay. While food quality is appreciated, its pricing may be higher than some guests expect. Though maintenance is usually prompt, occasional repairs are necessary.
The resort staff receive high marks for their professionalism and service.
