Ski enthusiasts find it an unbeatable choice due to its proximity to ski lifts and slopes, while outdoor lovers enjoy the easy access to Jotunheimen National Park and numerous hiking trails. The serene surroundings and stunning mountain views further embellish the overall guest experience. Additionally, the location’s convenience—being close to shops, restaurants and public transportation—adds significant value, making it ideal for families and adventure-seekers alike. Despite the bustling nature of the area, the resort maintains a peaceful atmosphere, bolstered by spacious apartments and friendly staff.
The breakfast at Beito Resort Hotel also garners positive feedback with many guests endorsing the delicious and varied selection. The high quality and plentiful choices, in addition to a beautiful and pleasant dining room, contribute to an enjoyable experience. Friendly and attentive staff enhance the breakfast offering, providing a traditional Norwegian breakfast feel and the convenience of packed lunch options for hiking adventures.
Dinner services offer a mixed experience. While many guests enjoy the well-prepared, tasty food and commend the pleasant ambiance and skilled waitstaff, there are several points of criticism. Issues like insufficiently heated buffets, lack of variety and high prices left some guests dissatisfied. Additionally, the availability and operating hours of dining facilities could use improvement to meet guest expectations fully.
Rooms at the resort are generally described as spacious, clean and comfortable with modern décor that meets expectations. Positive mentions include heated bathroom floors and garden access from some rooms. However, a few areas such as worn-out hallways, noise insulation and furniture comfort suggest that certain aspects might need refurbishment. Family guests, in particular, appreciate the large swimming pool, junior suites and suite rooms, coupled with beautiful views enhancing their stay.
Cleanliness at the Beito Resort Hotel receives a mixed review. While many find the rooms tidy and well-maintained, occasional issues like dirty rooms and inadequate cleaning practices were noted. Consistency in room maintenance, especially during extended stays, could see improvement.
The staff consistently receive high marks for their friendliness and willingness to assist, enriching guests' experiences with their attentive and accommodating demeanor. Although there are occasional reports of untrained or unfriendly interactions and language barriers, these instances are relatively rare.
Free wifi at the resort delivers mixed results with a notable number of guests experiencing weak signals and slow speeds, especially during peak times. Enhancing the consistency and speed of the wifi service would be beneficial.
The gym and swimming pool facilities are widely praised, providing added value to the stay. The gym is often described as superb with many appreciating the free access. The swimming pool, while generally well-regarded for its size and usability, needs attention to maintenance and temperature consistency. Safety concerns within the pool area also warrant attention. The absence of scenic views from the pool area is another minor drawback mentioned by some guests.
Families find Radisson Blu Resort very accommodating with child-friendly amenities like a shallow pool and playroom. Spacious family rooms and a strong family-oriented atmosphere make it a prime choice for family vacations, notwithstanding minor location concerns within the hotel.
The prime location for skiing is a significant draw with guests valuing easy access to slopes, ski lifts and cross-country trails. The proximity to the ski stadium and excellent views of the slopes are consistently praised.
Beds generally receive favorable reviews for comfort, contributing to an excellent stay experience. However, some guests found the beds too firm or too high and pillows were occasionally a point of discomfort.
In summary, Beito Resort Hotel, offers a superb location, comfortable accommodations, delightful breakfast and generally high-quality service, making it an excellent choice for families, ski enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. Addressing minor areas of improvement, particularly in dining variety, room maintenance and wifi service, could further elevate the overall guest experience.
