Its strategic location, just a 15-minute walk from major attractions, blends the charm of nature with easy city access, making it ideal for both nature walks and historical explorations.
Breakfast is often highlighted as a standout feature with guests delighting in a variety of homemade and fresh products such as crepes, jams and eggs from the host’s own chickens. The communal dining setting fosters a friendly atmosphere, further enhanced by personalized touches and local recommendations from the hosts.
Rooms are consistently noted for their cleanliness and comfort with many guests appreciating the warm hospitality and beautiful views of Autun. Some minor issues are mentioned, such as smaller room sizes and occasional noise disturbances, but these are generally outweighed by the overall positive experience.
The cleanliness of the entire establishment, including shared sanitary facilities, is another frequently praised attribute. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained and secure environment, including convenient parking options in a quiet residential neighborhood.
The exceptional hospitality stands out with hosts Philippe and his wife frequently being commended for their warm and accommodating nature. Their readiness to assist with logistics, provide local insights and ensure a personalized experience greatly contributes to the welcoming atmosphere.
