Hotel Do Parque - Congress & SPA offers spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, making the stay pleasant in terms of room quality. However, many guests feel that the hotel's facilities and services do not meet the expectations of a four-star rating. The hotel is in need of updates and improvements, particularly to bring it up to par with other four-star establishments in Portugal within the same price range. Breakfast, in particular, has received criticism for its low quality, falling below the standard one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Overall, while the hotel has its positives, such as the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, it appears to fall short of the four-star experience that many guests anticipate.

Grande Hotel Thermas Nature & SPA enjoys a highly favorable reputation, particularly for its prime location and commendable staff. Nestled in a serene township near the Vouga River and Roman Baths, the hotel provides convenient access to local attractions, dining options and ample parking. Visitors often note the breathtaking scenic views from the rooms, further enhancing the appeal of this well-situated establishment.
The hotel’s interiors and exteriors are tastefully decorated, contributing to a visually appealing and comfortable atmosphere. Guests have praised the hotel for its cleanliness with both rooms and common areas being well-maintained and tidy. The accommodations themselves, while clean and comfortable, are sometimes described as outdated and in need of renovation. Some concerns include small bathrooms, a lack of storage and non-functional air conditioning in certain rooms.
Breakfast at Grande Hotel Thermas Nature & SPA is celebrated for its variety and quality, featuring a broad selection of fruits, breads and coffee. The cleanliness and organization of the breakfast service further enhance the dining experience, despite occasional critiques about some items, such as juice and plant-based options, being less than perfect.
The dinner service receives mixed reviews. While the presence of live piano music and traditional cuisine adds a sophisticated touch, some guests feel the menu is limited and the food quality does not justify the price. Slow service and issues with the flavor of certain dishes have been noted by some diners.
The hotel staff are consistently commended for their friendliness and professionalism with many guests highlighting the exceptional service provided from the reception team to various other departments. This positive interaction with staff greatly contributes to the overall pleasant guest experience.
In summary, Grande Hotel Thermas Nature & SPA is well-regarded for its excellent location, clean and comfortable environment and attentive staff.
