Hotel Metropol, while having a storied past, struggles to meet the expectations typically associated with a four-star rating. Guests frequently express disappointment with its dated appearance and facilities, suggesting that a thorough renovation is needed to restore its former glory. While accommodations are generally comfortable, they more closely align with a three-star standard in terms of both maintenance and service. The breakfast offering lacks variety and often misses basic items, which does not align with the four-star promise. Service is described as average, contributing little to elevate the overall experience. Many reviews mention that the hotel's current state does not justify its four-star claim, leading to a sense of unmet expectations among visitors.

Garden Park Hotel, although promoted as a four-star establishment, appears to fall short of such a rating according to guest reviews. The general sentiment suggests that while it may have once met four-star expectations, it now aligns more closely with a three-star experience. Visitors have expressed disappointment with the state of the facilities, noting that they seem outdated and do not provide value for the high cost associated with the hotel. Additionally, the breakfast offered is described as mediocre, lacking the quality expected from a four-star hotel. Despite these shortcomings, there is no indication of bad faith; rather, guests seem to have encountered an oversight when booking and assessing the hotel’s rating. Overall, Garden Park Hotel currently does not meet the expectations set by its supposed four-star status.
