Estalagem da Liberdade, set in the heart of Portalegre, is an attractive accommodation choice praised for its excellent location and personalized service. Guests benefit from easy access to the charming old town, along with nearby restaurants, shops, and convenient parking options. The inn's quirky and traditional character adds to its charm, while the friendly and attentive staff create a welcoming and warm atmosphere.
Rooms at Estalagem da Liberdade are well-regarded for their comfort, cleanliness, and thoughtful design, blending vintage and modern elements to create a cozy ambiance. Essentials like mini-bars, coffee machines, and quiet air conditioning enhance the stay, while the standout suite, Room 7, is particularly applauded. The attentive hosts, notably Rui, contribute positively to the guest experience by maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
The breakfast offerings provide a mixed experience; while some guests enjoy the simple and quality selections, others suggest improvements in variety and organization. The dining area’s limited space is noted, suggesting potential for enhancements to better accommodate guests.
The inn's facilities, including a quaint swimming pool and a hot tub, offer relaxing spaces for guests to unwind. Although occasionally closed due to external factors, the pool is appreciated for contributing to the hotel's inviting atmosphere. However, while room cleanliness receives commendation, improvements are suggested for the common areas to better meet guest expectations.
Overall, Estalagem da Liberdade stands out for its strategic location, personalized service, and welcoming environment, making it a favored choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Portalegre.
