The pool is a good size and has a pool bar, making it convenient for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their little ones. The onsite shop and grocery are also a great addition. Our kids were so happy that they could spend the whole day in the pool and the family atmosphere was amazing. The rooms were big enough for a family, providing a comfortable stay. Ice cream and pizza were available for the kids, which they loved. The buffet breakfast was convenient, although we would have liked more dining options for families. The resort pool was a hit and the value for families or groups was impressive. The resort backs onto the nature reserve, providing a safe outdoor play area for children. Unfortunately, there were limited options for in-room food and no Netflix for kids. We also wished that the room had more facilities to make it more family friendly. Despite the minor inconveniences, our stay here was a highlight of our vacation. However, managing dinner with small children was quite challenging and the absence of disabled bathrooms was disappointing. Overall, the Oaks Port Douglas Resort is an excellent choice for a family-friendly vacation.
