NH Ciutat de Reus is celebrated for its prime location in the charming city of Reus, making it an ideal base for exploring the vibrant city center, old town, and nearby attractions. The hotel balances accessibility with a peaceful environment, providing easy access to cultural sites and nearby towns. Guests consistently commend the hotel for its exceptional cleanliness and hospitable staff, who are noted for their friendliness, attentiveness, and professionalism, enhancing the overall guest experience.
The breakfast offerings at the hotel receive high praise for their variety and quality, with options catering to different dietary needs. Many guests highlight breakfast as a standout feature, appreciating the fresh ingredients and friendly service. The dinner experience is mostly positive, with good quality and reasonably priced meals, though some inconsistencies have been noted, such as occasional lapses in food preparation and limited dining options on Sunday evenings.
Rooms at NH Ciutat de Reus offer a blend of comfort and spaciousness, praised for being large, clean, and well-equipped, though some updates could enhance the aging decor. Bedding is particularly lauded for providing a restful sleep experience, with spacious rooms adding to guest comfort.
For business travelers, the hotel is ideally suited, with its strategic location, professional environment, and cleanliness aligning well with work-related needs. Additionally, the hotel accommodates pets, providing a dog-friendly environment that, while appreciated, involves a notable fee that some guests consider excessive.
While the hotel generally meets expectations for its classification, some guests have expressed a desire for more amenities typical of a four-star establishment, such as complimentary water and an in-room kettle. Despite this, NH Ciutat de Reus offers a good value for money, enhanced by its excellent staff and overall service quality.

Pension Suiza excels in offering an exceptional location for its guests, situated ideally in the heart of Reus. This strategic placement allows visitors to conveniently access the bustling city center, public transportation, and major attractions such as the Portaventura theme park. The tranquility of the area, coupled with the accessibility and proximity to shops and services, enhances the visitor experience, making it a highly valued spot for both brief and extended stays.
The staff at Pension Suiza receive widespread acclaim for their warm, friendly, and helpful demeanor, contributing significantly to a welcoming atmosphere. They are known for attentively addressing guests' needs and ensuring a pleasant experience around the clock, which leaves a positive lasting impression.
However, the experience in terms of cleanliness and comfort of beds is inconsistent. While some guests appreciate the clean and simple rooms, finding them satisfactory for short stays, there are numerous concerns about hygiene, with reports of neglected installations and unpleasant odors. Bedding quality is similarly mixed, with some guests enjoying comfortable mattresses, while others find the beds hard or the linen rough. Issues such as worn or unstable beds in smaller rooms indicate room for improvement.
In summary, Pension Suiza offers a convenient and welcoming environment largely attributed to its prime location and the hospitable staff, although it could benefit from improvements in cleanliness and bedding quality to ensure a consistently positive guest experience.
