Location

North Charleston Marriott is a great base for exploring Charleston with its convenient and central location. Situated within easy access to the North Charleston coliseum and just a 15-minute drive from downtown Charleston, guests can easily explore the city's attractions. The location is also praised for being right off the highway, making it easy to get in and out of. And with the cost of a 4 night stay being similar to just 1 night in downtown Charleston, guests can have a comfortable stay without breaking the bank. Some guests did mention that the hotel was too far from downtown, but overall, the location is considered excellent. Additionally, guests complimented the hotel's pretty exterior and its proximity to shopping. Whether traveling for business or leisure, North Charleston Marriott is a convenient location for a comfortable stay.

Check-in/check-out was super easy with an amazing staff, making guests feel welcome from the start. The hotel along with the rooms and bathrooms were updated, clean and new making the overall room feel spacious. The comfy beds made for a great night's sleep while some guests found the shower to be amazing. However, some guests did mention that the rooms were smaller than they appeared in pictures, but on the whole, guests have described the rooms to be comfortable and nice with good decor. Although some others did feel the rooms were outdated, small and not worth the amount of money charged. Guests noted that the bathroom was tight but very clean. Lighting was dim and some guests stated that there were no plastic cups in the bathroom. A few guests found dirty areas in the hotel such as hallways, rooms and bathrooms although the property was completely clean. Some found that their coffee maker only had one hot cup and there weren't any USB connections or microwaves in the room. Some guests even mentioned the mattress was broken and the AC unit was too loud. Despite those faults, guests would return to the North Charleston Marriott because of the clean rooms, comfortable beds and beautiful decor.

Guests are raving about the comfortable bed and how much it reminded them of their own. Even the air conditioning system works great to ensure a good night's sleep. Although some guests did mention that the beds could be more comfortable, rest assured that the Marriott's bed will not disappoint. With the exception of a few isolated incidents like broken mattresses and old sheets, majority of the guests found the beds clean and comfortable and overall a great place to rest their heads for the night.

Nevertheless, the majority of the guests enjoyed the polite, professional and amazing staff, especially Kevin, Michelle and Andrea.

Many guests have positively commented on our outdoor pool and patio area, describing it as being nice, clean and well-maintained. Our fire pit in the pool area adds an extra element of relaxation and enjoyment. While some guests felt the pool was small, it didn't detract from the overall positive experience.
