While some guests felt that the massage services were overpriced and could be improved, many were still pleased with the overall use of the leisure facilities. Unfortunately, there were a few instances where guests had their spa days ruined due to issues such as availability not being explained at check-in or the hydro pool being out of service. However, for the most part, guests really enjoyed the spa and pool areas with some even choosing the hotel specifically for these facilities. While there were some complaints about the pool being overcrowded with children, others found the pool to be excellent. Overall the spa area at The Tytherington met most guests' expectations and was one of the main reasons for booking a stay at this hotel.
