Three Queens Hotel is appreciated by guests for its prime central location, providing convenient access to the town center, nearby attractions like the National Brewery Centre and efficient public transportation options. Free and secure parking is an added bonus for visitors who bring vehicles.
Despite the lack of on-site dining facilities with no provisions for breakfast, lunch or dinner, guests managed fine thanks to recommendations for excellent local cafes and restaurants. This aspect, while a significant downside, is partially mitigated by the hotel's strong guidance on nearby dining options.
Rooms at the hotel receive generally positive feedback with guests enjoying the spaciousness, cleanliness and modern amenities such as fridges, microwaves and large TVs. Many rooms cater to self-catering needs, which appeals to families and long-term visitors. While some noted that the decor and certain maintenance issues could use updates, the overall sentiment towards room comfort and cleanliness is favorable.
Cleanliness in individual rooms tends to be highly praised, even though public areas and specific room details occasionally fall short of guests' expectations. Yet, the friendly and helpful staff consistently stand out, enhancing the overall experience. The reception staff, night porters and management are repeatedly recognized for their dedication to guest satisfaction.
The WiFi service at the hotel brings mixed reactions with some guests experiencing seamless connectivity and others facing difficulties. Parking, on the other hand, is largely commended for its ease and reliability, being both free and spacious.
The hotel is seen as family-friendly, offering spacious family rooms and a welcoming environment conducive to family bonding. Despite minor cleanliness and maintenance issues, the hotel’s atmosphere and amenities for families make it a recommended option.
Bed comfort is another strong point with many guests finding the beds very comfortable and clean, although experiences varied for a few.
In summary, the Three Queens Hotel presents a solid value for its three-star rating. Despite some areas needing improvement, it provides a clean, comfortable and convenient stay, bolstered by an exceptionally attentive staff. For families and visitors seeking affordability and centrality, it remains a repeat choice.
