The pool at Hotel Grand offers a mix of experiences according to guest reviews. Generally praised for being warm, clean and well-maintained, the indoor pool is a standout feature for many, providing a sanctuary with clear water and straightforward upkeep. Guests often appreciate its cleanliness and the availability of a jacuzzi, which adds to the overall pleasant experience.
However, there are consistent reports of the pool being cold, which might deter those looking for a warmer swimming experience. The water temperature seems to fluctuate and some found it difficult to use due to the chill. The pool area is noted as being smaller than expected, often described as undersized relative to the hotel's accommodation capacity and being crowded at peak times.
There are additional comments regarding poolside cleanliness and safety. While some guests found the area well-maintained, others pointed out issues such as a dirty or non-functioning jacuzzi, excess chlorine odor and potentially slippery surfaces.
Despite these concerns, the hotel's effort to provide a fun and relaxing pool environment with added amenities like slides, swings and a private garden for children does not go unnoticed. For those looking for a quiet and clean place to unwind, the pool area serves well, although it may fall short of expectations set by promotional photos.
