The SANA Silver Coast Hotel presents a mixed experience when it comes to its four-star rating. Several guests feel that their stay met the expectations associated with a four-star hotel, citing the overall experience as satisfying and the amenities as excellent. It offers great value for money and is generally considered to be a high-level four-star establishment, deserving of its rating.
However, there are some areas where the hotel fell short of expectations. A notable number of reviews mention aspects that did not match up to the typical four-star standards. Specific criticisms include the lack of USB ports in the rooms, no pool or spa facilities and underwhelming breakfast quality, which some felt did not reflect the service level expected of such a hotel.
While some visitors believed the service should have included assistance with luggage and room accompaniment given the price, others appreciated the good value. In conclusion, while the SANA Silver Coast Hotel delivers a satisfactory four-star experience for many, it appears to have some inconsistencies that may need addressing to fully meet the standards one might expect from its rating.

Hotel Vila D'Óbidos has received mixed reviews, particularly about its four-star rating. While the building and structure might meet four-star standards, several aspects fall short of what guests generally expect from a hotel of this caliber. Common critiques include dated bathrooms, generic and worn furnishings and small room sizes. Notably, the condition of some facilities such as the swimming pool, which appeared yellowed at the edges and maintenance issues with the Turkish bath and water fountains, were disappointing.
There are also concerns about outdated mattresses and single lounge chair at the indoor pool that seemed old and dirty. Guests have pointed out that the mini-fridge and bed frames are degraded and the overall impression of the rooms lacked freshness. Additionally, the hotel's kitchen being closed added to the dissatisfaction.
Despite these drawbacks, there are positive mentions: the staff at the reception were attentive and friendly, providing helpful information and maps to guests. The swimming pool was generally appreciated and many found the rooms clean and comfortable. The ambiance is noted as being conducive for a relaxing weekend, aiding in recovering strength.
However, for many, these positives did not compensate for the shortcomings, leading to the overall sentiment that Hotel Vila D'Óbidos does not quite live up to its four-star rating.

Pousada Vila Óbidos has garnered attention for its unique charm, but questions have arisen regarding its four-star rating. Many guests feel the inn functions more like an expensive bed and breakfast rather than meeting the expected standards of a four-star establishment. The simplicity of the breakfast, lacking regional products and the absence of staff in the evening until the next day detract from the overall experience. Additionally, some guests found the bathroom facilities below the standard anticipated for a hotel of this caliber. While the comfort level of the accommodations has been recognized, it doesn’t entirely align with the prestigious rating Pousada Vila Óbidos advertises.

Nestled in the charming village of Obidos, Hotel Real d Obidos offers an intriguing blend of medieval-themed decor that may either captivate with its unique ambiance or feel somewhat impractical to discerning guests. Described by some visitors as more reminiscent of a theater set, the hotel's atmosphere is certainly distinctive. While opinions on its four-star rating diverge, many agree on the comfort and cleanliness provided, with the hotel being an excellent option for price, service, and location. The welcoming and attentive staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure guests feel cared for, highlighting the impeccable service that enhances the overall experience.
Despite some underwhelming aspects such as smaller bed sizes and dated bathroom fixtures like shower curtains, the hotel remains a great value. Some reviews suggest it leans more towards a three-star experience, largely due to service and amenities that occasionally don't meet the standards expected at this level. However, for others, the charm and character of the property align with its advertised star rating. Overall, Hotel Real d Obidos stands out for those seeking a unique stay enriched by the dedication of its staff and the allure of its historic surroundings.
