Guest reviews of the pool at Palace Hotel & Spa Buxton offer a mixed opinion of the facilities. Some guests visited specifically for the pool, but were disappointed to find it too cold or closed unexpectedly. Others paid extra for entry, only to find the pool facilities were outdated or in a state of disrepair. Some guests were even met with rude staff and bugs in the sauna. However, a few guests enjoyed the pool and found the water to be heated and inviting. Overall, guests were left with the impression that the pool area needs some attention, including a deep clean and refurbishment.

Buxton Crescent boasts several beautiful pools and spa facilities that are loved by guests. The hotel offers indoor and outdoor pools with the rooftop pool being a top favorite among guests. The heated pool is also a great option, although some guests have noted that the water temperature in the spa could be warmer. While some guests found the Salt cave not as relaxing as expected, the hotel's pool facilities more than made up for it. However, guests did note that the hotel hallways and restaurant area were uncomfortably hot, but this should not discourage you from taking a dip in the pool. Overall, the pools are fantastic, clean and provide a memorable swimming experience.
