The RidgePoint Hotel receives high praise for its prime location, offering easy access to the mall, highway and various amenities, making it an ideal spot for both short and extended visits. Many guests appreciate the convenience of being right next to the N4 and within a shopping center with plenty of restaurants and attractions like a casino nearby. Attributes such as safety, quietness, cleanliness, good parking facilities and well-maintained premises contribute to a comfortable and hassle-free stay.
While opinions on the breakfast experience are mixed, numerous guests found it good, delicious and warm, particularly enjoying the buffet style which some described as scrumptious and awesome. Nonetheless, some guests reported a limited food selection, poor service and earlier breakfast hours not aligning with their schedules.
Regarding the rooms, many guests noted their cleanliness with comfortable bedding and proximity to various venues. However, there are notable complaints about the small size of the rooms and beds, inconsistent cleanliness and outdated and poorly maintained furniture. Issues with amenities such as malfunctioning air conditioning, poor TV picture quality and missing essentials like fridges and hairdryers were also mentioned.
The hotel's cleanliness receives a varied response. Positive remarks highlight the neatness and well-maintained general areas, yet there are frequent complaints about dirty carpets, moldy areas, unclean towels and poorly maintained furniture. Problems with daily cleaning services, including flooding and leaks, were also reported.
Staff at The RidgePoint Hotel generally receive high marks for friendliness and perceptiveness, particularly those at the reception. Reviews frequently praise the efficient check-in and check-out processes and the team's professional attitudes.
