The hotel ensures a positive experience with specific dog-friendly areas and a generally pet-friendly atmosphere, which many found to be a significant bonus. If you're a dog owner seeking a place to stay during your travels, you'll definitely want to check out the Royal Hotel (Adults Only). Fellow dog lovers will find that this hotel is exceedingly welcoming to dogs of all shapes and sizes. From the moment you arrive, you'll notice that your furry friend is more than just tolerated, they're made to feel right at home. The very friendly host, Eddy, goes above and beyond to ensure that dogs are accommodated and even doted on. You'll find dog bowls and towels in your room and owner's own dog, Boris, may even greet your pooch. Eddy is also happy to advise on dog-friendly places to eat in the area. The hotel itself is cosy and very clean with rooms that are the perfect size for you and your furry friend. Our Labrador was made to feel very welcome and had a great time. We highly recommend this very dog-friendly hotel to dog owners looking for a fantastic place to stay.

Looking for a dog friendly hotel in Eastbourne? Look no further than Citrus Hotel, which is highly recommended by guests for its accommodating approach to pets. While there is a charge of £15-£20 per night for dogs, many guests found the fee reasonable since the hotel is recognised as very dog friendly. Dogs are welcome in the bar, corridors and special areas but not allowed to be alone in the bedrooms while eating breakfast. Some guests noticed that others brought their dogs to the main lounge, which was not explicitly allowed, but this may have been a grey area. The hotel team seems to understand that pets are part of the family and greeted them warmly. However, some guests observed that the price charged for dogs was rather high and some areas lacked views for dog owners. Overall, Citrus Hotel in Eastbourne is an excellent choice if you need a place to stay with your dog.
