Crowne Plaza Antwerpen by IHG, presents a blend of contrasting opinions regarding its four-star rating and overall quality. While some guests affirm that the hotel meets the international standards of a four-star establishment, others challenge its rating, finding the amenities and services more fitting for a two-star hotel. Positive reviews highlight the hotel's great location, high standards of cleanliness and comfort and exceptional value for a four-star hotel. Guests commend the top-notch staff and characterize the hotel as a perfect option, offering the ultimate four-star experience at an excellent price point.
However, criticisms arise from some who find the facilities and services inadequate for a four-star hotel. Observations include surprisingly small beds for a four-star establishment, closed facilities and rooms and services that do not match the expected quality for a hotel of this ranking. Hence, while some guests are satisfied with the four-star provisions, others feel that their expectations were not met, casting doubt on the hotel's claim to its four-star status. Overall, the hotel appears to deliver a mixed experience with significant appreciation from some guests and notable disappointment from others regarding its four-star designation.

Pullman Antwerp has consistently been reviewed as lacking in the quality expected of a four-star hotel. Common points of feedback include the need for renovations, especially in the bathrooms and other facilities, which many guests feel are outdated and below the standard of a four-star establishment. The quality of sleep has been another issue with several mentions of uncomfortable beds not befitting a hotel of this rating. The breakfast service also appears to require better organization to meet guest expectations. Though there are positive mentions of good service, the overall sentiment is that the hotel does not meet the anticipated four-star standard.

Leonardo Hotel Antwerp The Plaza offers a decent level of comfort and is generally suitable for any type of stay, making it a good option for a city break. However, some aspects of the hotel, particularly its decor, appear to be dated, reminiscent of the 90s, which detracts from the overall experience one might expect from a four-star establishment. While the four-star rating might be accurately reflected in certain areas, there is a consensus that improvements are needed to truly meet this standard.
The breakfast provided has received mixed reviews. While some guests found it to be sufficient, others felt it was basic and below the average expected from a four-star hotel. Common critiques mentioned reheated pancakes, thick pancakes and yogurt served in plastic cups with some guests finding the breakfast to be expensive for what was offered.
Despite these criticisms, the hotel still has its supporters who recommend it and express a desire to return. The varied reviews suggest that while the hotel delivers a comfortable stay, enhancing certain facilities and updating the decor could better align it with the four-star expectations.
