Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Delta Hotels by Marriott Bexleyheath receives high marks from guests for its convenient and pleasant location in a suburb close to shopping centers, amenities and a large supermarket. The hotel is easy to find and provides on-site parking for an additional fee, adding to its appeal. The town center is within walking distance, making it a great base for visiting family or exploring the area. Guests appreciate the hotel's comfortable rooms and large, beautifully appointed bathrooms.
Breakfast at the hotel earns mixed reviews. Many guests enjoy the variety and taste of the breakfast buffet, highlighting items like DIY pancakes and waffles and praising the friendly staff. However, some found the breakfast basic with issues such as slow replenishment of food and lukewarm items. Despite these inconsistencies, overall satisfaction with breakfast is evident.
The dining experience for dinner also receives mixed reactions. While the quality and taste of the food are generally praised, the limited menu, occasional unannounced restaurant closures and high costs are areas of concern for some guests. Nevertheless, the positive reception to the food's taste and quality cannot be overlooked.
Guest rooms are a highlight, noted for their spaciousness, cleanliness and comfort. Visitors frequently mention the comfortable beds, modern furnishings and well-maintained environments. Family rooms are particularly appreciated for their size and quietness. Despite minor issues, such as non-functional TVs, the staff's prompt response showcases their commitment to guest satisfaction.
Cleanliness stands out as a strength with most guests describing the hotel as very clean and well-maintained. This applies to both the rooms and common areas like the restaurant and gym facilities. While a few guests noted issues such as dust and occasional odors, the overarching narrative underscores a high standard of cleanliness.
The staff at Delta Hotels by Marriott Bexleyheath earn widespread praise for their friendliness, helpfulness and attentiveness. Specific staff members receive accolades for their exceptional service, particularly those at reception and in the breakfast area, contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Parking is convenient with the hotel offering an on-site car park, though the £9 daily fee is seen as steep by some. The parking area is secure but could use improvements, such as clearer signage and wider bays to accommodate modern cars. Despite the cost, many find the parking options suitable.
Finally, the beds receive commendations for their comfort, often described as amazing and conducive to a restful night's sleep. Some guests, however, have noted issues such as overly soft or worn mattresses. Despite these occasional concerns, the general sentiment affirms that the beds significantly enhance the overall comfort of the stay.
Overall, Delta Hotels by Marriott Bexleyheath impresses with its excellent location, comfortable and clean rooms and friendly staff, making it a popular choice among visitors.
