The pool at Lakeside Inn Wollongong has garnered significant criticism from guests. Complaints include the pool being dirty with rubbish floating in it and described as unswimmable and overgrown. The pool area appears neglected with only one chair available for lounging and issues such as overgrown grass and lifting pavers making the experience less enjoyable. Reports of dead cockroaches and the pool water being green and swamp-like suggest a lack of maintenance with some guests noting the pool looked as though it hadn't been cleaned for months. On numerous occasions, the pool has been closed and unavailable for use, leaving visitors disappointed with this advertised amenity. Overall, the condition of the outdoor swimming pool requires substantial improvement.
