The ibis budget SP Centro Sao Joao offers a variety of family-oriented features, making it a commendable option for family stays. The hotel provides flexible room arrangements, shared accommodations and family-friendly amenities, which many guests appreciate. However, the rooms can be a bit tight for three people and the inclusion of bunk beds may not be entirely appropriate for younger children.
While the staff is noted as being friendly and helpful with positive interactions especially beneficial for families with babies, some guests experienced inconsistencies in service, such as early check-in issues. There were also comments about the lack of specific family amenities, like the availability of cribs.
The location might be a concern for some due to safety perceptions of the area and logistical challenges, such as climbing multiple flights of stairs, were mentioned. Additionally, the air conditioning system and room sizes were occasionally criticized, which could affect the comfort level for families. Despite these points, many families reported having a satisfactory experience, celebrating special occasions and finding value in their stay at the hotel.

B&B HOTEL SP Luz Centro presents a mixed bag when it comes to family-friendly amenities and activities for kids. Many guests highlight it as a good choice for those traveling with children, emphasizing the family-friendly environment and the presence of activities designed for kids, including a designated children's area. The hotel is praised for its suitability for family outings, especially given its proximity to the metro station and shopping areas.
Guests appreciated the mini market and microwave available in the entrance hall, which adds to the convenience for families. The staff is noted to be helpful and friendly, contributing positively to the family experience. Some rooms, particularly the family rooms, are described as large and comfortable, accommodating families better.
However, there are several critiques mentioning that the rooms can be quite tight for larger families. Instances where families had to split up due to insufficient space or the inability to add extra beds indicate that the hotel's layout may be better suited for couples or smaller families rather than those traveling with more children. Adding more entertainment options for children, such as toys and arcade games, has been suggested to enhance the family experience further.
Despite some negative points, it appears that many families enjoy their stay, often returning and considering it a second home. The hotel's peaceful and safe environment is lauded as suitable for family vacations, making it a great choice for those wanting to explore São Paulo with kids.
