The beach is also a good snorkeling spot nearby, although it is recommended to have a staff member from the hotel present due to the sensitivity of the reef and some inexperienced guests walking on it. While there are no services available at the beach, such as installations at the transat or service, guests understand that they can swim leisurely to their heart's content. The location is splendid with a magnificent cadre est splendide and there are other jolies plages assez sauvages, et poissonneuses nearby. The Motu is magnificent with a jardin de corail quasiment privatif and there is access direct from the hotel to the jardin de corail, which is just a step away. The travaux de la plage, where they have poured tons of earth to develop it, have not dampened the beauty of the surrounding beach areas. This is an ideal location for families or couples seeking a wonderful beach experience.

Despite the small size of the hotel beach which is located behind the overwater bungalows before the reef drop-off, it offers excellent snorkeling opportunities right from the beach. Guests can choose from plenty of umbrellas and beach areas. The snorkeling off the overwater bungalows is great, but the wind can be prohibitive at times. The private beach is very pleasant and accessible for snorkeling with a multitude of fish right at the bungalow's feet. The coral gardens and turtle sightings make for a great snorkeling experience. The facilities are clean and the water and beach are excellent, though the public beach of Tamae is preferred over the hotel beach by some. The only downside is that the beach on the lagoon side is not very beautiful. Nevertheless, our stay at Manava felt like a dream with its stunning scenery and great snorkeling spots.

The hotel has a nice reef with a lot of marine life and guests can kayak to nearby motus with pink sand beaches. The beach is also ultra calm, perfect for walks or kayaking. The beach bungalows are highly recommended with some situated right on the beach and the food choices at the restaurant are excellent. Although there may be some rocks and corals on the beach, the location and scenery are truly fabulous. Le Tikehau by Pearl Resorts is a true paradise that should definitely be on your travel list.
