Ramada by Wyndham Almaty offers a swimming pool as part of its amenities, which guests appreciate for its inclusion in the accommodation price and its capacity to provide a pleasant experience, especially during cold weather. The pool is described by some visitors as warm and well-maintained, allowing for leisure and laps alike, and is complemented by additional facilities like a sauna and steam bath for a complete relaxation package. However, feedback highlights a fluctuation in cleanliness and water quality, with reports of murky and occasionally dirty conditions, and some guests mention the pool being colder than expected, or even out of operation at times. The Grand Tien Shan Hotel features a range of swimming facilities well-appreciated by guests, which include a number of swimming pools, saunas and a small gym. Reviews consistently highlight the "excellent," "wonderful," and "nice" pool amenities as a standout feature of the hotel. Many guests are pleased with the large, well-maintained pools, noting that they are clean and often include warm or comfortable water temperatures.
Additionally, the availability of multiple pools and supportive facilities such as a Jacuzzi and saunas adds to the overall appeal, though some mention the saunas being somewhat small. The operating hours until 10 p.m. offer ample opportunity for relaxation.
However, the experience isn’t universally perfect. Some guests felt the pools were smaller than expected and a few noted that the water can be quite cold. There were occasional reports of the pools not being operational during stays, which was a letdown for some. Despite these minor issues, the overall sentiment is that the pool facilities contribute significantly to a delightful stay at the Grand Tien Shan Hotel.
