Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Fattoria Il Milione Agriturismo is a picturesque retreat nestled in the scenic Tuscan hills, offering stunning views and a strategic location just a short drive from Florence. Guests appreciate the serene environment, expansive olive groves, vineyards and the proximity to the city, making it ideal for those looking to explore Florence and other famous Tuscan destinations while enjoying peaceful countryside walks and relaxation. The estate's antique charm, spacious and comfortable accommodations and the beautiful views from various vantage points, including a lovely restaurant terrace, create an appealing rural idyll.
The breakfast experience receives varied feedback with many enjoying the delicious and plentiful offerings in charming outdoor settings. However, the prepackaged box method, likely an adaptation due to COVID-19, has been met with some disappointment for its lack of variety and fresh, savory options.
The onsite restaurant is highly praised for its ambiance, excellent quality Tuscan cuisine and stunning views of Florence. The convenient location of the restaurant and the nearby Osteria del Milione, combined with the exceptional food and wine choices, make dining a delightful experience. However, occasional private bookings can cause some limitations.
Accommodations at Fattoria Il Milione Agriturismo are generally well-received with spacious, comfortable rooms designed in a rustic Tuscan style. Guests value the large apartments, well-equipped kitchens and picturesque views. Some areas do require improvement with reports of outdated furnishings and maintenance issues. Despite this, the combination of charming decor and beautiful surroundings makes for a memorable stay.
The cleanliness of the property receives mixed reviews. While many guests commend the clean and relaxing environment, certain areas, particularly bathrooms and kitchens, were highlighted for needing better upkeep. Nonetheless, the pool area is consistently praised for its cleanliness and pleasant setting.
The staff at Fattoria Il Milione Agriturismo are often described as friendly and helpful, contributing positively to the guest experience. While there are occasional mentions of inconsistent service, the general sentiment remains positive.
WiFi connectivity at the estate is an area that could benefit from improvement with several guests experiencing unreliable service.
The pool is a beloved feature of the property, often described as magnificent and well-maintained. Guests enjoy the large size, beautiful setting and availability of towel rentals. However, seasonal closures and varying water temperatures are noted concerns.
Tennis facilities are available, offering additional recreational opportunities. The court could use some upkeep, but it remains a notable feature for guests.
Parking facilities are predominantly praised for their convenience and accessibility with ample free parking available. Some challenges with rough terrain and shared spaces were noted, but the overall experience is positive.
Lastly, the property offers electric vehicle charging options, which some guests found beneficial.
In summary, Fattoria Il Milione Agriturismo provides a charming and strategically located retreat that combines the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside with the convenience of easy access to Florence. Despite a few areas needing improvement, the estate offers a memorable stay with its beautiful surroundings, comfortable accommodations, delightful dining options and friendly staff.
