Visitors to the Best Western Plus Hotel Plaisance generally appreciate the parking options available, finding them generally convenient and varied. Guest opinions highlight secure and monitored parking facilities, complemented by accessible locations for those traveling with vehicles full of luggage. While some guests acknowledge private parking is good, they note it often comes with a fee, usually around €12, for additional security and convenience. Popular among travelers is the free parking option at the back of the hotel, although it’s acknowledged this area can be quite small and fill quickly.
Visitors also benefit from the convenience of plenty of nearby on-street parking and the availability of free spots right in front of the hotel. However, guests are cautioned that the reserved garage spaces can be tight, making maneuvering a challenge, particularly for larger vehicles like SUVs. Additionally, a few reviews suggest the need for a bit of luck to secure a spot in the small parking lot, yet others found satisfaction with the overall parking conditions and ease of use.
The location of the hotel itself boasts easy access to various amenities within walking distance, making it a fitting choice for a city center stay. Moreover, helpful and pleasant staff enhance the experience by assisting with parking arrangements wherever possible, ensuring a seamless and accommodating stay. Despite some challenges related to parking space and reservations, the overall consensus is that the hotel provides convenient and varied parking solutions for a wide range of needs.

Summary of reviews related to the 'Parking' category
Summarized by AI
The parking experience at Mercure Villefranche-sur-Saône receives mixed feedback from guests. On the positive side, many appreciate the convenience and security of the underground parking, which offers direct access to the reception area. The garage is well located, close to the city center, making it an attractive option for travelers who wish to explore nearby areas. Guests describe it as a real plus, with an atmosphere that is pleasant and welcoming.
However, there are several aspects that could be improved. A common concern is the difficulty in locating the access to the parking garage, with some describing it as inadequately lit and hard to find. Additionally, the narrow spaces and challenging access make it less ideal for larger vehicles. The parking fee, priced at €14 per night, is often considered excessive by guests, adding to the mixed reviews. Despite these challenges, for those seeking a secure and central parking option, the underground facility remains a highly convenient choice.
