The location is nice and quiet with a park around the back, but the walk behind the hotel is not very pleasant as it's just a mess and doesn't feel clean. If you have transport, it's only a 10-minute drive to Gloucester Quays shopping centre, but the car park there is pricey and not guaranteed. However, the hotel is also a perfect off-site location only 13 minutes away from the Quays. The location is excellent, but some guests felt that it would be better in a more rural setting as the odd location in the middle of a housing estate didn't feel safe and the area behind the hotel wasn't very pleasant. Also, the big slope to walk up with luggage and the front car park being closed off can be a bit inconvenient. Nonetheless, the location of the hotel was good and easy to get to.
