Heritage Hotel Hallstatt offers a range of appealing amenities and scenic views with guests particularly enjoying the balcony views of Hallstatt's lake and the well-equipped, comfortable rooms. The large rooms and rich breakfast buffet add to the overall positive experience. The hotel’s service receives good feedback and facilities such as luggage help contribute to a pleasant stay. Guests appreciate the hotel's frontline location to the lake and the breakfast cruise provided at a low cost. However, some reviews suggest that while the hotel claims to be a four-star establishment, its facilities and room conditions do not consistently meet this standard. There are mentions of rooms and bathrooms needing renovation and the quality being lower than expected for the price. Despite these discrepancies, the hotel does offer many comforts and its prime location remains a highlight.

Seehotel Grüner Baum offers an experience that generally aligns with its four-star rating. Guests have highlighted the high-class ambience and the superior quality of the rooms and service, describing it as a first-rate, high-level hotel. The hotel’s appearance and amenities are often noted to meet the four-star standard, providing the expected luxury and comfort.
However, some reviews mention that certain aspects of the service, such as breakfast, fall short of four-star expectations. While the overall quality is praised, the limited breakfast spread and occasional service lapses suggest areas for improvement to fully justify its pricing and four-star superior status. Despite this, many visitors still regard their stay as a four-star experience, emphasizing the hotel's potential when service standards are consistently met.
