Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Azzurro is praised primarily for its exceptional beachfront location along the picturesque Bay of Kotor, offering guests direct access to a pristine private beach. The hotel captivates visitors with stunning sea views from various vantage points, including many rooms with balconies, ideal for soaking in breathtaking sunsets. The tranquil setting is perfect for a peaceful retreat, yet remains conveniently accessible for travelers.
The dining experience at Hotel Azzurro, particularly dinner, is highlighted by guests as a standout feature. The beachside restaurant provides delicious, reasonably priced meals with generous portions, complemented by a beautiful ambiance thanks to its glass structure offering stunning sea and mountain views. The breakfast experience garners mixed reviews, but the delightful sea-view veranda adds a positive element, along with friendly service.
Though the rooms' spectacular views are appreciated, they suffer from size constraints and aging furnishings, which detract slightly from the overall experience. Guests note the need for renovations, as the small, cramped rooms are not ideally suited for families or long stays. Nonetheless, rooms are kept clean and are equipped with essential amenities such as air conditioning.
Guests consistently praise the hotel’s staff for their professionalism and friendliness, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel. The efficient and accommodating staff extends their helpfulness across various areas, enhancing the guest experience.
The cleanliness standards present a mixed picture, with frequent towel changes and clean beach areas highlighted as positives. However, inconsistent housekeeping and maintenance issues suggest a need for improvement in order to maintain a consistent four-star experience.
While there is some disappointment regarding the advertised four-star rating in relation to its facilities, the convenient parking and stunning beachfront make Hotel Azzurro an inviting choice for those seeking a serene and picturesque getaway. Overall, Hotel Azzurro impresses with its location, friendly staff, and dining offerings, though some areas such as room comfort and cleanliness could benefit from enhancements to align with guest expectations.
