Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Ramada in Guayaquil is centrally located, enhancing its appeal to tourists who appreciate easy access to the vibrant Malecón 2000, downtown attractions, and scenic views of the Guayas River. The hotel consistently earns praise for its friendly and attentive staff, who frequently go above and beyond in their service, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel valued and at home.
A typical stay includes a satisfying breakfast experience with a variety of dishes, including warm options and local specialties like fish encebollado. The breakfast is generally viewed as a positive feature, despite occasional calls for more diversity.
The rooms at Hotel Ramada are lauded for their spaciousness, comfort, and cleanliness, though the furnishings and facilities would benefit from modernization. While some guests note concerns over outdated decor and occasional issues like musty smells or mattress discomfort, the quiet ambiance due to double-glazed windows is appreciated. General cleanliness is commendable, even as some areas, like bathrooms, highlight the hotel's aging infrastructure.
Despite mixed reviews about the WiFi connectivity, which requires improvements, the hotel staff's exemplary service contributes significantly to a pleasant guest experience. The cost aligns with the three-star service level, offering value for money especially for budget-conscious travelers, although some guests suggest it's slightly high given the state of the facilities.
Overall, Hotel Ramada is a dependable choice for travelers looking for comfortable accommodation in a prime location, with standout staff service being a major advantage. Updating the facilities and improving WiFi could further elevate the guest experience.
