The Village Hotel Cardiff boasts excellent facilities such as a restaurant, bar and gym all on-site. The pool and gym were highly praised by guests with both being open late. The staff were professional and helpful and the gym itself was well-maintained. However, some reviewers noted that the gym usage required an additional fee, which was disappointing. Despite this, the training facilities were described as awesome by some guests. One gym-goer did mention a slip hazard on the foot plate of the hack squat and insufficient padding on the knee area of the decline bench press. Additionally, some guests had trouble accessing the gym and pool due to some confusion regarding the opening times. Overall, the Village Hotel Cardiff provides nicely maintained facilities with a gym available for use, albeit at an extra cost.
