Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Modena in Bratislava is an ideal choice for budget-conscious travelers, business professionals and families. The hotel’s location is pragmatic, offering easy access to the Refinery Gallery, public transportation, the airport and major roadways. While its industrial surroundings may not appeal to everyone, the serene, quiet environment is a nice escape from the bustling city center.
Guests highlight the hotel's cleanliness with rooms and common areas well-maintained and regularly praised. The spacious and modern interiors provide a comfortable and cozy atmosphere, complete with essential amenities like hairdryers, kettles and TV sets. Families appreciate the cleanliness and suitability of the rooms, which cater well to those traveling with children.
The staff at Hotel Modena are often commended for their friendly and helpful nature, contributing positively to the guest experience. The breakfast buffet is varied and tasty, featuring an array of both hot and cold dishes, including gluten-free options. However, some guests report inconsistencies in the selection and quality towards the end of service hours. The on-site restaurant offers delicious and affordable meals, though limited dinner hours and frequent closures for private events can be an inconvenience.
Despite variable reviews, the free Wi-Fi and parking options are generally adequate. Some guests experience weak signals and parking challenges, but overall, these amenities enhance the convenience for visitors. The hotel's amenities are well-suited to business travelers, providing modern rooms with ample workspaces and a straightforward check-in process.
While some areas, such as the fitness center and aspects of the furniture show signs of wear and could use renovation, Hotel Modena delivers a reasonable three-star European standard. The beds receive mixed reviews with many finding them comfortable, though there are occasional complaints about their condition.
In summary, Hotel Modena offers a commendable balance of affordability, cleanliness, accommodating staff and practical amenities. It is suitable for business travelers, families and short-term stays, meeting the expectations for its three-star rating.
