The Truitt is a lovely hotel situated in an excellent and safe location with proximity to the arts district, local attractions and great restaurants. The hotel is within walking distance to The Plaza and Hyde Park and guests can easily park their cars on the street or in the private driveway. Despite being an older building, guests enjoyed the beautiful architecture style, artwork and courtyard. The hotel is close to the Nelson-Atkins Museum, shopping and lively bars. The neighborhood is gorgeous with amazing mansions and statues throughout the area. Guests appreciated the quietness of the location while still being very close to the Kansas City action. Overall, The Truitt is a beautiful property with a prime location for visiting art museums and enjoying the best of Kansas City.
