The Kathmandu Marriott Hotel is in a modern building with great facilities, providing a contrast to the neighboring buildings. The hotel is conveniently located, not too far from the airport and is a 15 minute walk from Thamel with clear views of famous landmarks such as Pashupati Nath. The location is overall good and amazing with easy transportation to the airport. While some guests feel the location is just okay and not great or happening, it is still a good spot, close to the city centre. However, some guests feel the hotel is exorbitantly expensive for the location and recommend eating outside of the hotel. Despite differing opinions, the majority of guests praise the hotel's prime location.
