Active Hotel offers solid value for money, aligning well with expectations for a three-star hotel. Guests frequently mention its quiet atmosphere and commendable rates, appreciating the affordability of the accommodations provided. The hotel fulfills the essential criteria expected in its category, although some guests pointed out that the overall quality could be perceived as mid-range or simple.
While the hotel meets anticipations for short stays or transit stops, such as a night en route to Germany, there are some areas where it falls short compared to other three-star establishments. One notable issue is the cleaning policy; rooms are only cleaned upon the guest's request, which some found inconvenient since it's not proactively offered. This has led to an impression of service being imposed rather than helpful.
Breakfast reviews are mixed with some guests finding it mediocre compared to similar hotels. However, the overall impression remains that of a serviceable, no-frills option that satisfies basic lodging requirements without exceeding them.
In summary, Active Hotel is a decent option for travelers looking for budget-friendly accommodations that fulfill standard expectations of a three-star hotel, provided they don't mind a more austere experience and infrequent room cleaning without proactive service.
