All your needs at the hotel will be taken care of, except for those who need to heat baby food in a microwave or sterilize baby bottles on their own, as these facilities are not available. Despite this, the hotel has been a go-to place for many guests, including one who has been coming back every year with their mother, following the passing of their father. Although it is a pity that prices in Ireland can be high, Great Southern Killarney remains a wonderful destination for families looking for a memorable holiday experience.

Kids are kept entertained with activities such as horse-riding, pony rides, a children's club, a wooden playground and plenty of indoor play areas. The stables onsite are home to beautiful blonde Haflinger Ponies that the kids absolutely loved. The hotel is situated in a great location with fabulous views and a lovely ambience. The family rooms were perfect for our needs, though some decor updates are necessary. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming to children. While some guests were disappointed with lack of special requests and housekeeping staff not wearing masks, overall, guests felt that the hotel was all child-friendly and had great facilities for the whole family.
