The Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa offers a decent, though sometimes cold swimming pool, which unfortunately was closed during some guests' visits. The pool and gym were praised for being among the best of hotels, however, the swimming times for children were seen as too restricted by some. Some guests were disappointed by a large group of noisy children disrupting their swim, while others were happy to have the pool entirely to themselves in the evenings. Unfortunately, some guests reported a lack of towels in the swim area and on one occasion, the pool was entirely unavailable. Nevertheless, the pool proved to be one of the main reasons why some guests chose to stay at the hotel, alongside good parking facilities.
