Location
The Rajbari Bawali is situated in a beautiful location in the middle of the Bengal countryside with a pond in front of the main entrance adding to its charm. Although the road from Kolkata to the property can be bumpy, the proximity to the city, only an hour's drive away, makes it an easily accessible retreat from the hustle and bustle. While the river front is a little faraway and could be cleaner, guests who appreciate being away from it all will like the location. The neighbourhood village adds to the peaceful and secluded setting, although access can be difficult without a car reservation. Despite the challenges, guests seem to enjoy the location with one saying, "I like the location - the venue is in a very nice place."

Breakfast
The Rajbari Bawali's breakfast is an exceptional and traditional experience, serving up an amazing spread of ethnic and foreign dishes. Reviews rave about the outstanding cuisine, good portions and delicious food. Guests have even been treated to private dining experiences for breakfast and praised the Bengali lunch thali for its sumptuous and diverse assortment of meal items. The complimentary breakfast is superb, while the Zamindar thali for lunch is totally worth the money. While some reviews mention a need for more inclusivity in the menu, the majority agree that the breakfast buffet is extraordinary and elaborate with so many amazing items supplied. Overall, The Rajbari Bawali's breakfast is a must-try for all guests.

Dinner
The Rajbari Bawali has a varied dining experience which includes traditional Bengali food, Chinese along with North Indian cuisine. Many guests raved about the Bengali Thali, describing it as a sumptuous meal with an assortment of items that were all delicious. The lunch was also praised as a treat. However, some guests mentioned that the food was expensive and not up to the mark. While some appreciated the variety, others found it limited. There were a few negative reviews about uncooked fish in the dinner ala carte and the North Indian food being average. Overall, the food at The Rajbari Bawali was given positive reviews as being excellent, delicious and of nice quality and quantity.

Rooms
If you're looking for a stay that transports you to the old Bengal zamindari era, The Rajbari Bawali might just be the perfect fit. The 350-year-old villa has been nicely renovated and the well-maintained rooms add to the property's charm. The ambience and cleanliness of the rooms and environment are noteworthy. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and some of them even come with a separate living room with antique items, including the Zamindari Suite. However, the amenities inside the rooms could have been better with some guests requesting a hairdryer and a TV which were not initially provided. The royal suites are impressive with their sumptuous beds and antique furnishings. Unfortunately, some guests reported issues with the room - including poor network reception and lack of proper doors to be closed. Some guests weren't able to book the rooms they wanted despite booking in advance, while others who booked via booking.com weren't provided with complimentary breakfast. The rooms are fairly large, but some guests found them to be shabby for the price taken. Overall, The Rajbari Bawali offers a beautiful property with super nice and comfortable rooms that give you a taste of old Bengal zamindari charm.

The staff is very attentive to cleanliness, keeping the entire property in great shape. The pool also receives high marks for being lovely and spotless. Hygiene is a top priority, ensuring that guests feel comfortable and safe during their stay.
