Hotel Mautner Airport und Messehotel is widely appreciated for its impressive location, providing a tranquil and peaceful atmosphere while still being conveniently close to various amenities. Guests value its proximity to supermarkets, bakeries, cafes and pharmacies, as well as easy access to the A8 motorway and public transportation options. The hotel's setting is particularly beneficial for both business and leisure travelers, offering practical access to the airport, trade fair and the city center. The quiet residential area and nearby parking options add to the overall positive experience.
The hotel does not offer breakfast, which has been a point of disappointment for some guests. However, several local bakeries within walking distance provide convenient alternatives for the morning meal. The absence of breakfast facilities could benefit from clearer communication to avoid surprising guests.
Rooms at Hotel Mautner are relatively straightforward and cater to budget-conscious travelers. Many guests have highlighted the cleanliness and recent renovations of some rooms, although opinions vary regarding room size and amenities. Some rooms are noted to be spacious and well-furnished, while others are described as cramped. Temperature control has been inconsistent with some guests experiencing uncomfortably cold or warm rooms. The noise levels in certain rooms suggest a need for better soundproofing. Despite these issues, the presence of small refrigerators is a welcomed amenity, although they do not always function properly. The lack of an elevator for rooms on higher floors can be challenging for some.
Cleanliness receives mixed reviews. While many found the rooms and amenities to be very clean, others experienced issues with stains, odors and poorly maintained facilities. Despite these discrepancies, the hotel generally meets the essential cleanliness standards for many guests.
The staff experience at the hotel is largely varied. Some guests have found the staff to be polite and friendly, appreciating the efficient management of contactless check-ins. However, a more significant number of guests reported frustration due to the lack of staff presence, especially at the reception, leading to difficulties in obtaining assistance and addressing concerns.
Free WiFi is available and generally appreciated for its reliability, although some guests have encountered issues with poor connectivity or lack of information on accessing the service.
Parking is a notable advantage of the hotel with guests appreciating the availability of free parking spaces both on the street and at the private lot behind the hotel. The convenience of nearby parking also contributes positively to the guest experience.
Feedback on bed comfort is mixed. While some guests praise the clean and comfortable beds, others describe them as hard or uncomfortable. Issues with pillows and duvets have also been mentioned, but overall, the beds seem acceptable for a short stay.
In summary, Hotel Mautner Airport und Messehotel offers a well-rounded experience with its strategic location and essential amenities, making it suitable for budget-conscious travelers and those needing proximity to business centers. Improvements in communication about amenities and more consistent staff presence could enhance the overall guest experience.
