Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Salisbury Hotel Motel has garnered positive feedback across several categories, making it a favored choice for both leisure and event-centric stays in Brisbane. One of its biggest strengths is the highly praised location, offering convenient access to Griffith campus, local food outlets, public transport and various attractions such as Nissan Arena. Although slightly removed from the city center, its position near key amenities and venues balances this out. The quiet surroundings and ease of vehicle access further enhance its appeal, particularly for events like weddings and birthdays.
Guests have also commended the accommodation’s comfort and cleanliness. The rooms are described as spacious, modern and equipped with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The excellent standards of hygiene maintained by the housekeeping staff are frequently noted, contributing to a pleasant overall stay. While a few isolated issues, like occasional room odors, have been mentioned, they appear to be exceptions rather than the norm. The presence of soundproofing and security measures, along with practical aspects like good parking facilities, add to the positive experience.
The dining experience at the Salisbury Hotel Motel is another standout feature. Guests have consistently praised the high quality of the food, particularly the dinner options and the varied menu available at the on-site restaurant and tavern. The convenience of selecting and paying for meals via QR codes at the table also receives positive mentions. Although the breakfast offering is more basic, consisting of a cereal-based continental breakfast, it is generally appreciated and considered a pleasant surprise.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff receive widespread acclaim with many guests highlighting the welcoming and accommodating nature of the hotel team. Staff members at both the reception and the restaurant are especially noted for their exceptional service, contributing to a warm and supportive atmosphere throughout the hotel.
Overall, the Salisbury Hotel Motel provides excellent value for money with its clean, comfortable and well-appointed rooms, delicious food options and strategic, convenient location. Despite a few minor issues, the majority of reviews are glowing, making it a highly recommended choice for travelers to Brisbane.
