Hotel Cándido's pool facilities have garnered a variety of reactions from guests with many expressing delight in the size, cleanliness and overall appeal of the pool areas. The outdoor pool, often described as large and luxurious, offers a spacious area to sunbathe with plenty of free sun loungers available for relaxation. The pool's cleanliness is frequently highlighted and the atmosphere around the pool area is praised for being pleasant and well-maintained.
Families especially appreciate the accommodation for children, including a separate children's pool with entry stairs, adding to the suitability of the hotel for younger guests. Lifeguard services provide an added sense of safety, which is well-received by visitors.
Despite the positive feedback, there are a few consistent concerns. Guests repeatedly note that the pool water can be quite cold, which can be off-putting. Additionally, the pool and spa areas are not open year-round or consistently throughout the day, sometimes only available on weekends or closing as early as September, which has led to disappointment for some. Patrons also need to be prepared for additional charges to use the pool and indoor spa facilities, which are only open during limited hours, particularly for children.
Overall, while there are some operational drawbacks, the pool facilities at Hotel Cándido offer a generally enjoyable experience with excellent amenities when open. The well-kept grounds and ample space for sunbathing make it a favored spot for many looking to relax and enjoy their stay.
