Travelodge by Wyndham Golden-Denver elicits mixed feelings from guests, hinging mostly on its three-star rating and associated services. While some reviews suggest that the hotel could be a solid three-star establishment with reasonable service levels, there are consistent mentions of shortcomings in its facilities and cleanliness. The property is considered outdated with noticeable wear, such as dirty exteriors, chipped paint and a generally unkempt appearance. Room and shower cleanliness are frequently flagged as areas needing significant improvement.
On the positive side, the hotel is praised for its fair and reasonable pricing, particularly as it stands as one of the cheapest options on the west side of Denver. This makes the venue a budget-friendly choice for travelers prioritizing cost over luxury. However, the price does come with the trade-off of a minimal viable stay experience, falling short of expectations for those accustomed to the Wyndham standard. The property, while adequately serving its purpose, could vastly benefit from updates and thorough maintenance to fully align with a typical three-star rating.
