What is the history of the property?The building dates back to the 10th century, when it was named Querceto Manor. During the 19th century it belonged to the noble Bargagli family of Siena and it included more than 30 farms. In the 1960s, the estate was bought by Earl Edoardo Visconti di Modrone Erba, who accommodated various movie stars and celebrities at the estate. In 2005, the estate was acquired by Timbers Resorts who started the restoration works in order to turn it into the lovely accommodation that it is today.
