The Grand Hotel des Bains boasts an exceptional pool experience that has garnered widespread praise from guests. The facilities include a large indoor pool and a smaller outdoor pool, both of which are described as nice, clean and modern. The outdoor pool area is particularly appreciated for its spaciousness and pleasant atmosphere. The pools are noted for their superb cleanliness and variety with some guests highlighting the therapeutic warmth and the presence of water jets and other fun amenities.
Access to the pools is considered easy and convenient with bathrobes and slippers provided for guests to use when heading to the baths. The pool area’s beauty and quality stand out, contributing to a relaxing and enjoyable visit. Guests also appreciate that the pool area remains open late, allowing for extended relaxation time.
While the poolside setting is generally seen as excellent with features like poolside tables and a bar, it is important to note that there can be a significant influx of people on Sundays, which may affect the experience. Despite minor issues such as insufficient social distancing in the spa area and the lack of sun beds, the overall impression remains highly positive, underscoring the pool area's role as a highlight of the Grand Hotel des Bains.
