Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Association Villa Saint Camille consistently impresses guests with its stunning location and extraordinary sea views. Perched on a hill, the property offers a breathtaking 180° panorama of the Mediterranean, including the bay of Cannes and the Lérins Islands. The tranquil surroundings and convenient access to hiking trails, a nearby beach and public transportation make it a prime spot for relaxation. Visitors appreciate the good value for money, despite some comments about the rooms needing modernization.
The breakfast experience is generally positive with many guests enjoying their meals on a picturesque terrace with sea views. While the food is seen as plentiful by some, others find it lacking in variety. Dinner, priced reasonably at €16.50, receives praise for value, although the quality and selection may not satisfy all tastes, especially younger guests.
Rooms are spacious and often come with large balconies that offer stunning sea vistas, a major highlight for many visitors. Although the interiors are clean and functional, they could benefit from updated furnishings and added comforts like air conditioning. The presence of private bathrooms, a small fridge and direct elevator access from the parking area adds convenience, while the lovely views compensate for the rooms' dated decor.
Guests generally find the hotel clean, though some areas occasionally fall below high standards. The exceptional friendliness and attentiveness of the staff are repeatedly highlighted, adding a warm and welcoming touch to the overall experience.
The pool area is another standout feature, offering serene and beautiful views of the sea. The tranquility of the pool and its surroundings provides an ideal spot for relaxation, despite minor concerns about safety features. Convenient parking options, including private, covered garages with direct elevator access, add to the property's appeal, although finding a space for larger vehicles can be challenging.
In summary, Association Villa Saint Camille is cherished for its remarkable views, friendly staff and serene ambiance, making it a delightful choice for a peaceful getaway. While there are areas for improvement in room decor and breakfast variety, the overall experience is enhanced by the property's enchanting location and exceptional hospitality.
