Guests frequently praise the quality and variety of the breakfast, served in a fairy-tale-like dining room with an extensive buffet featuring fresh savory and sweet options. Although some note the price as steep, particularly for children, the overall breakfast experience is viewed as generous and delightful. Dinner at the hotel's brasserie, Le 205, receives accolades for its exceptional cuisine and attentive service, though guests are advised of limited dining options due to the restaurant's closure on certain days.
The hotel's rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable bedding and luxurious bathrooms featuring amenities like jacuzzi bathtubs, ensuring a restful stay. The property reflects meticulous cleanliness throughout, enhancing its welcoming and warm ambiance. While minor cleaning issues are noted, the high standard of cleanliness overall contributes to a positive guest experience.
The spa is a highlight, providing a rejuvenating escape with amenities like a sauna, hammam, and pools, although improvements are suggested regarding size and cleanliness. Both indoor and outdoor pools, accompanied by a luxurious wellness center, are popular with guests, offering relaxation and family-friendly access. The staff is consistently praised for their friendly and attentive service, enhancing the serenity of the hotel environment.
Domaine de Dolomieu also caters well to families, offering facilities such as evening spa sessions for children. The spacious parking area, although set back from main buildings, is convenient for those traveling by car. Guests enjoy the romantic setting, often choosing the venue to celebrate special occasions, with thoughtful touches provided by the staff.
