Visitors loved the selection of water slides with the exception of a few which were closed for maintenance during their stay. The heated indoor and outdoor pools were also a hit, although some found the outdoor temperature a little chilly. Families with children appreciated the child-friendly facilities and entertaining treasure hunts. The comfortable sun loungers were much appreciated, although some felt it was tough to snag one during peak times. Overall, guests felt that Tropical Islands was a great place for water lovers with plenty of attractions to try out. However, some noted the high cost of food and drink on-site, while others found the pool area to be too crowded at times.
