Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
El Edén Country Hotel y Club Residencial is highly praised for its stunning location that combines natural beauty with the charm of a colonial-style coffee region village. Set in a tranquil rural area, it provides a serene and picturesque environment ideal for relaxation and exploring nearby attractions like Armenia, Salento, Filandia, and Circasia. Guests appreciate the hotel’s strategic location, despite the need for local taxis, and admire its charming design and welcoming amenities, including a chapel and restaurant.
The breakfast experience is generally positive, noted for its delicious taste, generous portions, and regional authenticity. While some guests noted repetitiveness and service issues, the meals are typically well-received. On the other hand, dining options are limited, as the restaurant's inconsistent dinner hours require guests to plan ahead or dine out.
Guest rooms receive mixed feedback, with positive remarks on spaciousness, cleanliness, and comfort. Some rooms offer beautiful views and luxurious amenities like jacuzzis. However, areas for improvement include basic decor, bed hardness, and occasional noise. Cleanliness is well-regarded, with spotless facilities and attentive housekeeping, although insect control and water quality need attention.
The staff at El Edén Country Hotel is consistently praised for their exceptional service, characterized by friendliness and attentiveness from team members such as Mauricio, Shirley, Lina, Cirley, and Luis. Their warm hospitality and helpfulness contribute significantly to the positive guest experience.
Leisure facilities, including the outdoor pool and heated jacuzzi, are appreciated for their relaxing potential, with picturesque views enhancing the ambiance. The game room also adds to the relaxing atmosphere. While some maintenance and hygiene improvements are suggested, the facilities offer a pleasant retreat.
Overall, El Edén Country Hotel y Club Residencial delivers a mostly positive experience with its beautiful location, attentive staff, and charming amenities, though some areas such as meal variety, room decor, and leisure facility upkeep could benefit from enhancements.
